La Orquidea has four swimming pools, which are located in two distinct areas of the resort.
The main pool area has a chain of three pools close to the Bar / Restaurant.
Relax with a drink and keep an eye on the children
Relax by the shallow pool.
The first of these pools is close to the Bar / Restaurant and is the smallest of our pools.
It is primarily a children’s paddling pool with a water depth of 90 cms.
A short stream links the paddling pool to the much bigger main pool (13 by 6 metres).
This is the focus of attention not only in summer, but also in the early parts of the year.
The Main Pool

The 40 foot long, main swimming pool is great fun for the whole family.
Surrounded by gardens and patios for relaxing in the sun, the main pool is always popular.
Some of our ground floor apartments open right on to the main pool garden, ideal for an early morning dip!
The Water Slide – Great Holiday Fun

Close to the main pool, a 25 metre long water slide provides hours of enjoyment for children and adults, alike.
You’ll be dropped with a splash into the lowest and deepest of the three central pools.
The plunge-pool is surrounded by terraces for sunbathing.
The Tranquil Kidney Shaped Pool and Garden

For those wishing to escape the activity of the main pool area, a wander through La Orquidea’s Gardens will find the tranquil kidney shaped pool with its lovely surrounding Gardens.
This is an ideal place to read a book, sunbathe or enjoy a quiet drink interspersed with the occasional dip in the pool.
Please note: As of Summer 2011, the kidney-shaped pool is closed for refurbishment.
