Reception

The first port of call for all our guests is La Orquidea’s Reception building. From here you can pick up the keys for your Apartments and register your arrival with our staff.

Our friendly Reception staff speak both Spanish and English and are happy to assist you with any questions you have regarding our Resort, the Costa del Sol or Spain in general.

We can arrange taxis and day trips to places such as Gibraltar, Morocco and Granada as well as help you book into the things like the local Golf course.

We have a small shop to supply you with basic necessities saving trips to the supermarket.

Holiday Ideas

Reception is always happy to help to plan and book trips to places such as Gibraltar, Morocco and Granada. We have a large range of fantastic holiday ideas.

A wide range of leaflets is available to inform you of local attractions, from guides to towns and cities, to holiday attractions and day trip ideas.

If you feel like exploring Calahonda and Mijas, we have a number of maps to help you on your way. Ask our friendly staff in reception for help.

Library

We have a library built up over the years from gifts of books by our guests. The library is free and any gifts of books when you leave will be much appreciated by those that follow.

If you just want to take it easy and relax by the pool, this might be a place to start. We also have postcards to make you friends jealous.

Organising Taxis and Car Rental

The resort is connected with local car hire companies and taxi companies. Before leaving on your holiday trip, talk to reception, there’s a good chance we can help with a bargain deal for your holiday travel.

Opening Times: Everyday from 10:00 to 16:00 (9:00 to 15:00 GMT).

Closed for lunch from 14:00 – 14:30.
