Benalmadena, Close to the ResortBenalmadena is a beautiful and diverse town situated in the heart of the Costa del Sol. The wonderful Tivioli world in Benalmadena is an impressive theme park in the Arroy de la Miel, easy to access by bus, train or car. With beautiful lush Gardens and plentiful Bar / Restaurants, there are also free shows, after an initial entry fee. Built for both adults and children, this is a truly a family fun day out with super fun rides, all under the wonderful Costa del Sol Weather. La Paloma park has wonderful fauna and flora, popular with ornithologists for the range of wild birds that make use of its beautiful lake. It is also home to the Benalmedena auditorium, which has fabulous shows every day of the week. The Telecabina (cable car) climbs up from Benalmadena to the very pinnacle of the Malaga province. The Telecabina has some of the best views on the Costa del Sol. Apart from the Beaches, you can see all of the large towns, like Fuengirola, Torremolinos, all along the coast. Close by you will find the Ferria where you can go Shopping in the local markets, and the Selwo Marina. The Marina is an aquatic experience not to be missed, with penguins and Dolphins splashing away all day.
