Fishing on the Costa del Sol

There are many companies operating out of all the major marinas within easy reach of the resort. Estepona, Fuengirola Marbella and Benalmadena all offer sea fishing charter boats. On such a charter you can expect to fish for swordfish, tuna, bass, bream and even shark.

Between July and September, you will find Swordfish and Tunny off the coast of Malaga. During the summer months, the fish swim so close to the surface that you can reach out and touch them.

Sea Fishing on your Holiday

The shores of the Mediterranean, close to the resort, are perfect for fishing holidays. Whether experienced or not, there are many companies offering tours into the Mediterranean and helpful skippers happy help you decide on your holiday trip. Nearby Malaga is a centre for sea fishing holidays.

Fresh Water Fishing

Fishing in rivers and dams in Andalucía is a popular holiday idea. Pike, Black Bass and Trout can be found, as well as Barbel and Carp. There are many fishing preserves in surrounding the nearby Sierra Nevada.

The lakes in Spain are an excellent location for carp fishing and are particularly well stocked with carp and other varieties of fish.
