Animals and Eco Tours

Within a few miles of the resort are many animal attractions. Fuengirola Zoo is just down the coast and, a little further on, is the spectacular Selwo Adventure Park, home to more than 2000 exotic animals.

Also, to the north west of the resort, is the incredible Sierra de las Nieves Biological Reserve.
The huge expanse of the Reserve between Marbella and Ronda contains nine pueblos (small towns) and some of the most spectacular scenery in Andalucia.

Las Nieves Biological Reserve

Nearly 70 square miles of undisturbed Andalucian countryside make up the incredible Las Nieves Reserve.

This incredible landscape is reminiscent of Spain’s ancient and rich history, and is home to many species of birds (excellent for the ‘twitcher’) and animals.

Trips to the reserve can be organised in reception and at just acouple of hours drive away, the reserve will make for an incredible day out.

Fuengirola Zoo

An incredible day out for adults and children alike, Fuengirola Zoo is an easy drive from our resort in Calahonda.

The zoo is home to more than 35 endangered European species on animals and the sympathetic environments are carefully crafted.

This truly is an oasis of calm right in the centre of bustling Fuengirola.

Selwo Adventure Park

Close to the resort in Calahonda, is the incredible Selwo Adventure Park.

Elephants, bears, hippos and more than 2000 other species are free roaming in this incredible, well maintained park.

You will be taken in open-sided trucks through the many environments, or if you prefer, can walk through the park on the many paths and rope bridges, seeing the animals at an easier pace.

Think ‘Jurassic Park’, but without the dinosaurs!
