A short drive from La Orquidea Holiday Resort, is the beautiful marina at Cabopino.
A popular beach and restaurant-laden marina, Cabopino is a great place for an afternoon or evening’s visit, to enjoy food and drink, overlooking the incredible boats.
Albert’s Restaurant has a great – and well-deserved – reputation, serving English and continental dishes, either inside with the eclectic decoration, or on the restaurant terrace, right next to the boats in the harbour.
Cool drinks and cocktails are on hand in Julie’s Bar, with its contemporary terrace area and relaxed atmosphere. Perhaps a little pricey, but a Mojito or a Daiquiri on the side of the marina is something not to be missed.
For the beach-lovers, Cabopino has a number of chiringuitos, with beach-loungers and parasols, available for rent. The beach is clean, quiet (depending on the time of year) and most importantly, safe.
Behind the marina, you’ll find a number of plazas, with many more bars and restaurants.
We definitely recommend Cabopino, we go there a lot. It’s a great place to while away the afternoon in the sunshine, watching the boats come and go.
