The summer golf season has started at La Orquidea!
The Golf Society in the Bar are organising weekly games down at La Siesta Golf Club with the usual dinner and awards ceremony afterwards.
La Siesta is 9-hole course, just down the road from the resort and, in our opinion, one of the most beautiful courses in this part of the world.
Running through a small valley in Calahonda, the quiet course is compact enough to walk round easily, but challenging enough for the intermediate golfer.
The course is 954 yards for men and 843 yards for ladies, par 27.

Always a great day, it’s an easy day out for the casual golfer. Our local Calahonda residents make up the bulk of the players, but the Society is always open to La Orquidea guests.
Last year, many guests joined the Society and more are always welcome. You might even get your name on the trophy!
